Hydrophilic Urinary Catheters Injection

A Hydrophilic Urinary Catheter is a single-use urine drainage catheter made of PVC or PVC-Free (Polyvinyl Chloride) and coated with cross-linked PVP Polyvinylpyrrolidone) for superior lubricated intermittent catheterization.

The surface layer of catheters has a hydrophilic coating that binds water. Then the catheter has a very wet and slippery surface. The hydrophilic surface means that the catheter has low friction when inserted.

Hydrophilic Urinary Catheter With Water Sachet

Homecath hydrophilic urinary catheter is a biocompatible product. It is made of medical grade PVC or PVC Free tube and coated with PVP. The smoothness dramatically reduces friction between the catheter and the urethral mucosa and minimises any risk of long-term damage.

How to Use Homecath Plus?

Hands should be washed before catheterization.

Open the package by peeling the tabs on the connector side.

Fill the package with water.

The package can be stuck onto any dry surface using the self-adhesive tape on the package.

The catheter should be soaked in water for at least 30 seconds to get lubricated for catheterization.

Discharge water from the package. The catheter is now ready to use.

If the catheter is found too slippery to handle, the package can be opened by peeling the bottom tabs and performing catheterization without ever touching the catheter.

Insert the catheter into your urethra and up to the bladder.

A hydrophilic urinary catheter ready to use, has sterile and activated hydrophilic surfaces. It is prepared to be inserted into the urethra without any delay. The catheter is stored in its sterile water in an aluminium pouch.

How to Use Homecath Ready?

Begin by washing your hands and the area around the urethral orifice. It is important to avoid transferring bacteria onto the catheter from your hands or surrounding areas.

Attach the catheter package to a smooth surface using the sticky dot.

Peel the package open and the catheter can be removed.

Hydrophilic Urinary Catheter Kit

Hydrophilic urinary catheter KIT is ready to use closed system hydrophilic urinary catheter with water sachet and urinary bag. Designed to use in case the user cannot find clean water and/or toilet.

Hydrophilic Urinary Catheter Kit

Open the package by peeling the tabs and take the urine bag out.

Break the water sachet by folding and squeezing or by squeezing the upper part. Then let the water run down into the urine bag.

The catheter should be soaked in water for at least 30 seconds to get lubricated for catheterization.

Turn the bag upside down and tear off at the indentation.

Ease the catheter out of the bag and catheterize. It is catheterization with a pusher.

Insert the catheter into your urethra and up to the bladder. When your urine starts to flow, push the catheter in a little bit further. Hold the catheter in place until the urine has stopped flowing. Remove the catheter by pulling it out slowly.

Push the catheter back into the bag. Tie off at the tail.

Discard the bag with its contents. You can also empty it by tearing it open at the mark, and then discard it.
