Hydrotouch is a sterile water-soluble lubricating gel which is used when putting a tube or instrument into a body cavity.It is used for lubricating urinary catheters, endoscopes, surgical instruments etc. before insertion.
Allows the facilitation of trials of voiding after major surgery.
How to Use Hydro Touch?
The decision about the size of hydrotouch sterile lubricant gel to be used is taken by the physician.
Remove the syringe (6ml/11ml) from its sterile package.
Remove the cap from the end of syringe.
Apply a drop of gel to urethral opening to make initial insertion easier.
Insert the nozzle into the urethral opening and press the plunger of the syringe slowly to release the necessary amount of the gel.
