SENSOFLUSH
Sterile %0,9 Sodium Chloride Solution (3ml / 5ml / 10ml / 20ml)
Sensoflush is a sterile, single-use, pre-filled syringe, ready to use, of 0,9% sodium chloride (NaCl) solution. The syringe is made of polypropylene and it has a luer lock.
Sensoflush is specifically designed for the flushing of in-situ vascular access devices to maintain patency and reduce the risk of contamination.
It has approximately the same osmotic pressure and composition as extracellular fluids.
Treatment must carried out by aseptic procedures.
How to Use Sensoflush?
Open the packaging and remove the syringe.
Remove the luer lock cap by unscrewing it and ensuring that there is no touch contamination of the syringe luer connection.
Hold the tip of the syringe upward and push the plunger of the syringe to expel the air.
Attach the syringe to the vascular access device, taking care that there is no touch contamination of the connection and ensure it is locked in place.
Flush the vascular access device using the appropriate technique and volume according to your local policy.
